Welcome to HPA
The Center for Hydropolitics Association (HPA Center) is a bipartisan, nonprofit, non-governmental organization founded in 2015 and headquartered in Ankara /Turkey.
It seeks to advance local, regional, and global transboundary water, food, energy, and environmental security and prosperity by providing strategic insights and policy solutions to decision-makers. The Center also provides reliable information to society and water-related organizations.
The HPA has the objective of promoting technical research in a coordinated and multidisciplinary way by the integration of research groups from different knowledge areas, as well as promoting specialized training and technical consulting in those topics related to water.
Hydropolitics Association is an NGO - Think-Tank, which is chartered by law and has been active since June 2015 in Ankara-Turkey.
HPA’s Hydropolitics Academy Center is a center of expertise in Water Management research as well as Climate Change and Irrigation. It brings together leading experts who collaborate to stimulate pioneering and practical solutions to the challenges created by increasing pressure on the world’s water resources.
The Hydropolitics Association of Turkey aims to generate up-to-date information, reliable data, and insightful analyses. We also rise awareness and propose some innovative approaches to sustainable water management, sustainable transboundary water management in conflicted regions as well as the study on water, food, energy, environmental security issues.
